BIG STAR JEANS was an integral part of the premium denim scene in North America from the mid 1980's through the 90's. There were many iterations of BIG Star Jean brands through this period as there were two trademark holders. One based in Switzerland, owned by the Faeh family, servicing mostly Germanic countries. The other trademark holder, based in France, founded by Alain Knafo and his family, serviced pretty much the rest of the world including North America. Alain's version of BIG STAR Jeans was particularly well known for a variety of women's fits. Some would say, myself amongst them, their most famous fit was their version of an ANTI-FIT or carrot shaped jean called the DIGGER. This MEN'S jean was most popular in a USED wash that was indeed super comfortable to wear. This unique fit style jean was beloved by NHL Hockey Players as it gave them the needed space in the thigh.
THIS PAIR OF BIG STAR JEANS HAS NEVER BEEN WORN. WAS AUTOGRAPHED BY THE PRINCIPLE CAST OF THE MOVIE JOHNNY MNEMONIC WHILE THEY WERE FILMING IN VANCOUVER IN 1994. AMONG THE SIGNEES: KEANEU REEVES, ICE T, HENRY ROLLINS, DINA MEYER
