Unique white mix denim Chore/Worker Jacket by Chimala. Japanese denim woven in an interesting cotton/linen blend. Very few ever produced. Aproximately crafted in 2012/13. Fully lined in 100% cotton brushed flannel.
Chimala clothing is a Japanese collection, with designs inspired by vintage workwear. Sourcing only authentic selvage denim from a mill in Japan, each piece crafted by local artisans. All washing and distressing treatments are done by hand, making each pair unique. Woven on pre-WWII vintage shuttle looms using traditional methods, Chimala has become known for impeccable fitting jeans, as well as an extensive assortment of shirting, knits, jackets and other non-denim apparel. Every item is crafted in small batches from natural fibers and woven using traditional looms, all done by hand at a dedicated Japanese workshop.
